BORAGE OIL Natural Energy is obtained by cold pressing of the Borage in the form of a plant (Borago officinalis), often known as borage officinalis. Vitamin E has been added as a natural preservative because it prevents oxidation of Borage Oil. Borage Oil of Natural Energy contains a high content of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA)as well as Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin B6 and Biotin. The GLA is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that is not present in sufficient quantities in the western diet. In the body GLA can be converted to prostaglandin E1, a powerful anti-inflammatory.
