Vermox Suspension 30 ml

Infestations of the gastro-intestinal by cestodes and nematodes, such as : Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworm), Trichuris trichiura (whipworm), Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus (hookworms), Strongyloides stercoralis (anguillule), Taenia saginata and Taenia solium (tapeworms).

1. Pinworm infection (infestation by Enterobius vermicularis):

Adults and children
5 ml of oral suspension.
Since in the case of pinworm infection, the evolutionary cycle of the parasite responsible is very short, the risk of reinfection is very high, especially in closed communities. This is why it is recommended to repeat the treatment after 2 to 4 weeks.


2. Ascaridiose, trichuriose, hookworm and infestations mixed:

Adults and children
5 ml of the oral suspension in the morning and evening, for three days.


3. Taeniasis in strongyloidiasis:

Adults: 10 to 15 ml of oral suspension in the morning and evening, for three days. Even at this high dosage, the side effects are rare.

Children: 5 ml of oral suspension in the morning and evening, for three days.


The treatment with VERMOX® requires no special diet or taking laxatives.

One ml of VERMOX® oral suspension contains 20 mg mebendazole.
