Ocugel 2,5mg/g Flacon 10g

This medication is recommended to relieve the symptoms of irritation of the eye. Especially when they are related to the dryness of the eye (eye) in the event of insufficient tears. It forms on the surface of the eye a transparent film lubricant and a wetting agent.

The active substance is carbomère 974 P (a synthetic polymer of high molecular weight acrylic acid cross-linked).

The other components are :

- benzalkonium chloride,

- sorbitol,

- monohydrate, lysine,

- sodium acetate,

- polyvinyl alcohol,

- water for injections .

- Instilled in the eye.

- Wash hands thoroughly before proceeding to the application.

- To allow for the proper formation of a drop of gel :

• hold the bottle upright,

• exert a gentle pressure on the bottle.

- Application :

• gently pull down the lower eyelid (lower) to the bottom,

• look up,

• instill 1 drop of gel in the corner of the eye (on the side of the channel that produces the tears to either side of the nose),

• to avoid the contact of the tip of the bottle with the eye or eyelids.

- After instillation :

• place the bottle upright in its original packaging,

• make sure that the cap is facing down (in order to facilitate the formation of drops when the next use).
