- Creon 10.000 contains an enzyme mixture called \" pancreatin \".
- This medicine is indicated in the treatment of symptoms associated with poor digestion that occurs when the pancreas does not secret sufficient enzymes.
The active substance is pancreatin 150 mg equivalent to Amylase 8.000 U. Ph.Eur., Lipases 10.000 U. Ph.Eur., Proteases 600 U. Ph.Eur.
The other components are :
The core of the pellet : macrogol 4000.
Coating : cetyl alcohol, methylhydroxypropylcellulose phthalate, dimethicone 1000, triethyl citrate.
Composition of the capsule shell : gelatin, laurylsulphate sodium, titanium dioxide (E 171), red iron oxide (E172), yellow iron oxide (E172) and black iron oxide (E172).
The capsules should be swallowed whole and not chewed or chew.
If you are unable to swallow capsules, they can be opened carefully and the minimicrogranules can be added to a small amount of food that is slightly acidic or mixed with acidic liquids.
