Iron is an essential constituent of the body. It is necessary for the formation of hemoglobin and the oxidative processes of living tissues. A lack of iron can lead to fatigue and decreased endurance. Ferrous fumarate contains 33 % iron metal. The ferrous salt are in general poorly absorbed (10% to 20% of the ingested dose). This absorption is increased when iron stores are diminished. Absorption takes place primarily at the level of the duodenum and the proximal part of the jejunum.

Take 1 capsule per day with a glass of water during the meal.
