IODOSORB is in the form of a pomade / paste, sterile dark brown with a support gauze of the two sides. It contains cadexomère (microspheres, modified starch), dupolyéthylène glycol, poloxamer, and iodine. The spheres of cadexomère sontbiodégradables. IODOSORB absorbs excess exudate and fibrin in the wound bed and reduces charging of bacteria to the surface of the wound. By doing this, it transforms into a soft gel and wet.IODOSORB removes barriers to healing by its dual action antimicrobial and its properties of debridement. The antimicrobial action broad-spectrum is ensured by the release sustained iodine, and debridement of fibrin is provided by the matrix decadexomère.
