The sterile dressing AQUACEL® Ag Hydrofiber® silver offers much more than antimicrobial activity.

The wound dressing AQUACEL® Ag Hydrofiber® is indicated for wounds in which the exudate is moderate to high and which are infected or at risk of infection.

Because it is the only antimicrobial dressing that incorporates the technology, Hydrofiber®, it :

Releases the silver ion in a controlled manner as and to the extent that the wound exudate is absorbed into the dressing.
Can help to protect the skin near the wound, reducing the risk of maceration
Can help minimize the risk of cross-infections during the removal of the pansementb,
Is soft and comfortable
Promotes the healing of the wound by providing an environment conducive to the healing of the wound moist
The wound dressing AQUACEL® Ag Hydrofiber® provides antimicrobial activity rapid and long-lasting in vitro.
As demonstrated in tests in vitro, the wound dressing AQUACEL® Ag Hydrofiber® provides antimicrobial activity for up to 7 days.
