The active ingredient (which makes the medicine work) is ibuprofen, a pain-type anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

Nurofen for Children 100 mg is used in children from 7 to 12 years of age, weighing between 20 and 40 kg for the relief of mild to moderate pain. Nurofen for Children 100 mg also lowers a high temperature (fever).

In children, ibuprofen is dosed according to body weight, as a general rule, 5 to 10 mg / kg of body weight as a single dose up to a maximum of 20 to 30 mg / kg of body weight as a total daily dose.
