Infestations gastro-intestinales par des cestodes et des nématodes tels que : Enterobius vermicularis (oxyure), Ascaris lumbricoides (nématode), Trichuris trichiura (trichocéphale), Ancylostoma duodenale et Necator americanus (ankylostomes), Strongyloides stercoralis (anguillule), Taenia saginata et Taenia solium (ténias).

1. Oxyurose (infestation par Enterobius vermicularis):

Adultes et enfants
1 seul comprimé. Étant donné qu'en cas d'oxyurose, le cycle évolutif du parasite responsable est très court, le risque de réinfestation est très élevé, surtout dans des communautés fermées. C'est pourquoi il est recommandé de répéter le traitement après 2 à 4 semaines.


2. Ascaridiose, trichuriose, ankylostomiase et infestations mixtes:

Adultes et enfants
1 comprimé le matin et le soir, pendant trois jours.


3. Téniase en strongyloïdose:

Adultes: 2 à 3 comprimés le matin et le soir, pendant trois jours. Même à cette posologie élevée, les effets indésirables sont rares.

Enfants: 1 comprimé le matin et le soir, pendant trois jours.


Le traitement par VERMOX® n'exige aucun régime alimentaire spécial ni la prise de laxatifs.

Pour l'utilisation chez des enfants de moins de 2 ans : voir SKP rubrique 4.4 Mises en garde et précautions particulières d'emploi.

Un comprimé VERMOX® contient 100 mg de mébendazole.
