Tegaderm Alginate Ag is presented in the form of compresses highly absorbent, sterile, non-woven, anti-microbial, composed of acid guluronique, alginate calcium, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and a complex of silver ions, which releases silver ions upon contact with the exudates from the wound. The alginate turns into a gel that retains the moisture as the exudate is absorbed, facilitating autolytic and thus promoting optimal wound healing of the wound. The gel guarantees the removal intact, without any damage to the tissue healing.
