Novalac Transit 1 is an infant milk that can cover all the needs of the infant. To use in the context of a daily diet from birth until the age of 4 to 6 months. The formula Novalac Transit 1 has been specifically designed to improve the transit of the infant when it is idle. Constipation is quite common among infants and is characterized by an irritation at the height of the anus (especially during defecation), a reduced volume of bowel movements, a decrease in the frequency of bowel movements, hard stools and discomfort of the abdominal cavity (abdominal tension, stomach swelling, bloating, cramps).
Novalac Transit 1 does not contain gluten;
100 % lactose: promotes intestinal flora and acts as an osmotic laxative in the small intestine. In other words, the lactose draws water in the stool to the height of the small intestine;
Higher magnesium content than in the standard power: stimulates the intestinal peristalsis and also provides an osmotic effect;
Calcium/phosphorus ratio = 2: promotes soft stools;
Contains more whey protein than casein proteins: the whey proteins are water soluble, which facilitates the transit;
Triglyceride-rich chains moderately long (also called medium-chain triglycerides): to facilitate the digestion.
We recommend that you introduce Novalac Transit 1 gradually into the milk feeding of your baby: first a bottle on both of the first two days; then all the bottles.
1 measuring scoop = 4.6 to g. 3 mesurettes + 90 ml water = 100 ml of milk at 14 %.
First warm the water up to a maximum temperature of 40 °C. Subsequently, add the powder and mix well/shake.
Give the bottle and do not hesitate to immediately discard any leftover milk from the bottle if it has not been consumed completely in a single meal. Do not reuse leftover bottle not finished! The bottle should be drunk within the hour following its preparation. Do not add sugar.
