GAVISCON MENTHE COMP A CROQUER 48 X 250 MG

- Medication against the symptoms of gastro-esophageal reflux.

- Gaviscon suspension treats the symptoms related to the reflux of gastric acid into the esophagus, such as acid regurgitation, burning and indigestion. These symptoms occur, e.g. during pregnancy, after an operation of the stomach, a result of reflux esophagitis or in a hernia of the diaphragm.

The usual dose is :
Adults and children over 12 years :
10 to 20 ml (2 to 4 teaspoons) after meals and at bedtime.
Children under 12 years of age :
5 to 10 ml (1 to 2 teaspoonfuls) after meal and at bedtime.
If desired, these doses can be diluted in water, but it is advisable not to add more an equal amount of water. Mix well.

- The active substances are : sodium alginate and sodium bicarbonate.
- The other ingredients are: calcium carbonate, carbomère 974 P, methylparaben (E218), propylparaben (E216), saccharin sodium, peppermint oil, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
