MAALOX ANTACID 200/400 COMP 100

Maalox Antacid and Maalox Antacid Strong are medicinal products based on aluminum hydroxide (aluminum oxide hydrate) and magnesium hydroxide.

Maalox Antacid and Maalox Antacid Strong are indicated for the short-term symptomatic management of gastric acidity and gastric pain. This means that you can not use these drugs for more than 14 days without consulting a doctor. It is also important to stop the treatment as soon as your symptoms have disappeared.

1 chewable tablet contains 400 mg of aluminum oxide hydrate (= 200 mg of aluminum oxide), 400 mg of magnesium hydroxide, 259,2 mg of sucrose, and 125 mg of sorbitol.

• Xanthan gum (E415)
• Guar (E412)
• Aroma of natural lemon
• Sodium chloride
• Hydrogen peroxide Solution 30 %

Short-term symptomatic management of gastric acidity (heartburn) and stomach pain.

Their effectiveness arises from their power of neutralising the acidity, resulting in an increase of pH in the physiological range and their activity antipepsine and inactivation of the lysolécitine and bile salts by adsorption.

Maalox Antacid does not interfere with a plan désodé strict: the maximum amount of sodium (Na+) administered per day is less than 0.04 g.
