Maalox Antacid, and Maalox Antacid Forte, are medicinal products based on aluminum hydroxide (aluminum oxide hydrate) and magnesium hydroxide.

Maalox Antacid, and Maalox Antacid Forte is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of short duration of gastric acidity and gastric pain. This means that you can not use these drugs for more than 14 days without consulting a doctor. It is also important to stop the treatment as soon as your symptoms have disappeared

Maalox Antacid 200mg/400mg chewable Tablets:1 chewable tablet contains 400 mg of aluminum oxide hydrate (= 200 mg of aluminum oxide), 400 mg of magnesium hydroxide, 259,2 mg of sucrose, and 125 mg of sorbitol.
