Whenever an enema is necessary to treat constipation and in the framework of the preparation of a radiographic examination or a proctoscopy.

Children under 3 years of age :
Do not insert the cannula up to his half and give the full content.

Children under the age of 1 year :
Do not insert the cannula up to his half and administer half of the solution contained in the cannula.

Adults and children from 3 years of age
Administer rectally the contents of a microlavement in introducing the cannula over its entire length.
A lubricant is not necessary, given that a drop of the mixture sufficient to lubricate the cannula.

A MICROLAX microlavement contains :
Natriumlaurylsulfoacetaat 45 mg
Sorbitol 3,125 g
Natriumcitraat dihydraat 0.45 g
Glycerolum – Salicylicium sorbicum – Aqua purificata.
