Terramycine Pommade Dermatologique 15g

The TERRAMYCIN with polymyxin B sulfate, ointment, dermal (skin), is an association composed of oxytetracycline, an antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline group, and polymyxin B sulfate, an antibiotic polypeptide of the group of polymyxins.

The TERRAMYCIN, ointment, dermal, can be used

- for the prevention and treatment of localized infections of the skin,

- to treat small wounds or infected burns.

Hydrochloride oxytetracycline (= oxytetracycline 30 mg) - polymyxin B sulfate (= polymyxin B 10,000 IU) - liquid Paraffin – vaseline

carefully clean the skin to be treated;

- apply the ointment on sterile gauze or directly on the skin, at least two to three times per day;

- ensure that the ointment remains in continuous contact with the skin to be treated;

- duration of treatment : few days to several weeks, depending on the nature and severity of the infection;

- continue treatment until complete healing.
