Preparation belonging to the class of drugs containing a substance used for local anesthesia as well as a derivative of cortisone for the treatment of inflammatory diseases anal, such as :
• hemorrhoids, including their treatment pre - and post-operative
• treatment of inflammation of the anus (proctitis)
• eczema anal
Intended for external use and rectal.
Scheriproct does not cure the cause of the onset of hemorrhoids. The preparation, however, is indicated as a treatment prior to surgical intervention or multiple sclerosis, hemorrhoids (varicose vein injections : injection of a liquid hardening) as well as post-operative treatment.
The treatment of hemorrhoids must take into account measures of hygiene.
Moreover, it is also important to prevent or prevent constipation. The drying up of the hemorrhoids and surgeries are also of treatment methods possible.
This drug is intended for external use and rectal.
The duration of treatment with Scheriproct should not exceed 1 to 2 weeks. In the absence of healing after 2 weeks, consult a doctor.
Before applying Scheriproct, which will take place preferably after the saddle, it is necessary to carefully clean the anal area.
Unless otherwise specified, observe the following recommendations :
- In general, 2 applications per day, morning and evening, and in the first days of treatment up to 3 applications maximum. When the symptoms improved, one application per day is often sufficient.
- Coat with the finger to the region of the anus and the anal opening itself to an amount of ointment the size of a pea around, by introducing the tip of the finger to overcome the resistance of the sphincter.
- If the ointment is to be applied to the inside of the rectum, screw the cannula attachment on the tube and insert carefully into the anus. Then, drop a small amount of ointment in the intestine by making a slight pressure on the tube.
- However, in the case of a strong inflammation and, therefore, affections especially painful, it may be advisable to practice with also the internal application of the ointment to the middle of the finger. Apply a thick layer of nodules, if any, and, if possible,
go carefully with the finger.
The ointment may leave grease stains on clothing, but they are very easy to clean.
• The active substances are : hydrochloride cinchocaïne 500 mg, caproate prednisolone 190 mg for 100 g
• The other ingredients are : octyldodécanol oil, castor oil, hydrogenated castor oil, ricinoleate of macrogol 400, essential oil of Cyprus (dérog. 42/471)
