Productive cough.

The carbocystéine is proposed for the thinning of the mucus in the case of respiratory disorders accompanied by a productive cough.

Children 2 to 5 years

• 5 ml 2 times per day, or 500 mg of carbocystéine per day

Children 5 to 12 years

• 7.5 ml 2 times daily, or 750 mg of carbocystéine per day

Children 12 to 15 years

• 15 ml 2 times per day, or 1500 mg of carbocystéine per day

Adults (from 15 years)

• 30 ml 2 times per day, or 3 g of carbocystéine per day
