ASPEGIC 500 mg contains 0,900 g of acetyl salicylate of lysine.

Excipients:

  • Acid, amino-acetic acid
  • Glycyrrhizinate ammonium
  • Aroma tangerine
  • Lactose
  • Inflammatory conditions and degenerative joint and periarticular structures, exclusively aimed at the analgesic and for short periods of time
  • Symptomatic treatment of pain of mild to moderate and/or feverish states

Pharmacotherapeutic group : analgesic and antipyretic

The acetyl salicylate of lysine, the active ingredient of ASPEGIC, is a salt soluble acetylsalicylic acid (A. A. S) and has, like the latter, an action antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory (at high doses), and anti-agrégante platelet.

These 4 actions can be explained by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, because acetyl salicylate of lysine inhibits irreversibly the active site of cyclo-oxygenase.
