BRAUNOL GEL 20G

Gel for prophylaxis and treatment of disinfectant. The Braunol Gel is free from body fat, and is soluble in water.

For 1 g of gel :

• Active ingredients: Povidone iodine (containing about 10 % iodine to be released) 100 mg.
• The other components (excipients): P. E. G. 400, P. E. G. 4000, sodium Bicarbonate, purified Water q. s. ad 1g.

• of wounds of various origins;
• bacterial infections and mycoses (such as catheterization)

Povidone iodine is an anti-infective topical. It has a bactericidal activity against the Gram (+) bacteria and Gram (-) present on the skin (including : Pseudomonas, Streptococci, Staphylococci). It also has a fungicidal activity (including Candida albicans, Dermatophytes), as well as an action sporocide and virucide.
