FULTIUM®-D3 800 contains 800 IU (20 µg) of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), in the form of a small capsule soft. Cholecalciferol is the natural form of vitamin D3.

The most common cause of a deficiency of vitamin D3 is too low synthesis of vitamin D3 by the skin due to inadequate exposure to sunlight due to seasonal variations, the lack of outdoor activities or of the clothing covering the entire body.

In addition, the capacity of production of vitamin D3 in our skin decreases with age and in people with dark skin. Babies, children, pregnant women and nursing mothers also have an increased need for vitamin D3.

A decision limited due to an unbalanced diet or an absorption less effective at the level of the power supply can also cause a deficiency in vitamin D3.

FULTIUM®-D3 800 has been developed in order to compensate for this lack of vitamin D3 or to respond to the increased needs for this vitamin: a food supplement rich in vitamin D3, which is suitable for adults and teenagers (from 12 years) in order to meet their needs for vitamin D3.

This medication is also available under the name of FULTIUM®-D3 DROPS which form and dosage are appropriate to use in the child.

PROPERTIES

Vitamin D3 is essential for the body thanks to its many functions.

FULTIUM®-D3 800 contains vitamin D3 which contributes to:

• the normal functioning of the immune system

• the maintenance of normal bone

• the maintenance of a dentition normal

• growth and bone development in normal children

• the maintenance of muscle function normal

• maintaining a serum calcium normal

FULTIUM®-D3 800 is especially important in cases of increased requirements of vitamin D3, including:

• during periods of little sunny (autumn and winter).

• for the older subjects due to reduced production and therefore lower reserves of vitamin D3

• in periods of strong growth, during pregnancy and breastfeeding

USAGE TIPS

Recommended Dose for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age, unless otherwise specified:

• 1 capsule per day as maintenance therapy in case of increased need.

• 2 capsules per day (1) in the initial stage in the case of a deficiency of intake of important.
