The dressing foam antimicrobial Kendall AMD is characterized by a cellular structure of polyurethane foam absorbing the liquid traumatic. The compress is impregnated with 0.5 % polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), an antiseptic with low toxicity. The dressing is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and against yeast infections. Can be used for a period of up to 7 days.
