The daily wearing of the orthosis at night helps to relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps to limit the evolution of the rhizarthrose.

The orthosis rigid EPITACT® maintains the thumb in rest position by opening the commissure between the thumb and forefinger. The alignment of the os is going to limit the forces acting on the joint of the two muscles-metacarpal and relieve the pain.

Made to measure because thermoformable, the orthosis EPITACT® is very comfortable and makes you forget during your sleep.

This product is a brace of night. It exists in two versions : right hand and left hand.

- THERMOFORMING :

Follow the instructions for thermoforming provided. The orthosis can be thermoformed several times if necessary.

- IMPLEMENTATION :

• Put the orthosis on the hand by dragging the thumb in its location.

• Insert the webbing hook-and-loop in the loop to the base of the thumb, lightly tighten the brace around the wrist.

MAINTENANCE

• Machine wash 40°C.

• Do not use stain remover (acetone, thinner, etc ...).

• Allow it to dry naturally. Do not iron. Do not expose to heat (>50°C).
