Orthosis for stabilization of the thumb joint The orthosis RhizoLoc® stabilizing the joint, metacarpophalangeal phalangienne and the articulation carpo-metacarpal of the thumb. Its aluminium backing adaptable immobilizes the thumb and release the lateral ligaments. This relieves the pain and accelerates the healing process. When the healing progresses, it is possible to allow movements of the joint, metacarpophalangeal phalangienne of the thumb via a pull-tab hook-and-loop. The velcro straps of the brace are easy to open and close with one hand.
